Got a charge from Hasbro Pulse and it had me worried for a second- couldn't remember ordering anything since the Battle of the Heroes set, but I checked, and it was the Storm/Wolverine pack. I'd totally forgotten about it. Glad it wasn't theft, and even more glad for some fresh plastic on the...

Really is a shame Thunderbolts and F4 came and went like they did- I think they're some of the best entries, at least in a while. Fantastic 4 comes out tomorrow on home media, and I'm excited to see it again- only caught it once in theaters.

Or you could somehow be in the best health of your life, but with no Apocalypse. Why put off until tomorrow what can be bought today?

I mean....I'd watch it. You can't tell me he hasn't developed some sort of personality disorder from switching bodies all those times. Watching all his identities converse would be nothing if not entertaining.

I don't necessarily see the pace slowing any time soon. I think it's great that they want to continue adding in some of the more mature stories, but they're not gonna sacrifice the action either, whether that's a Disney mandate or what. The few slower episodes we got in season 1 got some...

I think the real solution is just to embrace the meme of it all and put everyone on miniature ponies so they all look extra badass.

Poor Babs. She thought the cowl would hide her facelift, but it really just accentuates it. But I suppose it's still nothing compared to all the work the Joker's had done over the years.

Haven't added her to the collection, but nice to hear the softgoods work well for her- that definitely boosts my interest a bit. Perhaps her added, ahem, "accessories" help with the taper of the fabric.

Good point about Morph. I suppose any one of those characters could technically be Morph. Or they could all be Morph. Maybe we're Morph and just don't know it yet.

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

That's promising. End of 2026 feels like there's more wiggle room than mid-2026. Nice to hear conversations are still on-going too. I doubt they'd let him continue producing the main action figures, but if Mattel has little or no interest in the retro stuff, I wouldn't mind seeing more...

I see what you mean- there's definitely a slightly animated feel to it. Some cel-shading on the cowl as well. Doesn't look bad, but I can definitely see how people wouldn't like it not matching the aesthetic of the others.

It's certainly the softgoods; I can probably count on one hand the number of times I think softgoods have been implemented properly. But it's also the heads for me. It's not always the case, but I feel like more often than not they just look too bulbous. Maybe it's because they're dedicated...

They're doing it for the Mace vs. Palpatine set in Black Series as well, which bugs me. I got excited going to the site to order it, seeing that it hadn't sold out yet, only to find that stipulation. I agree- not the best way to get people to like you, especially once the floodgates open and it...

Oh, yeah. Or a scowl or something. It's just too stoic for someone as intense as Frank. I can see them wanting to avoid bigger expressions, after Rudd's Aunt Man smirk got so much flak, but it could've gone a long way here. Still, it's probably the best Jon Bernthal likeness we've gotten. Makes...

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

He's hit a pretty decent amount, yeah. At this point, my main wants would be to finish up the Nolan movies with Ra's, Gordon, and Alfred, and then Nicholson Joker- at the very least just Ra's and Joker so we don't have 2 huge gaps in the villain lineup. Talia would be cool, of course, but I...

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

My thoughts exactly. Vigilante is an audience favorite, and just kinda seems so up Todd's alley. Next to Peacemaker, he's probably the most "super" character on the show, so the fact we'll probably never get him sucks. Help fund the dang thing, Schizm! I don't know why I want it to work out as...

    X-Men '97

Maybe it's just blind optimism, but I don't necessarily think characters having a cameo early on means they can't play a part later on. Unless, you know, they got wiped out at Genosha, but I'd like to think they kept certain characters like Emma, and even made a point of her being alive, to use...

And see, that kinda rubs me the wrong way. I mean, I suppose it makes sense, but I'd have to imagine that Candyman would sell at least as well as some of the other pegwarmers- Crooked Man, The Nun, Hooper from Jaws, etc. It's tricky, because I just don't care for retro style cloth figures like...

    General Marvel Legends

To be honest, I know nothing of Magic the Gathering, but isn't Shadowfax from Lord of the Rings? I think Magic did a LOTR tie-in a few years ago, so I think that card/character is from that. There could be other horses in Magic, though, I don't know; seems like they'd wanna avoid any LOTR-based...

Candyman is one I'm surprised there hasn't been an Ultimate of either. Maybe it's something to do with Tony Todd's estate, especially now that he's no longer with us, but you'd think them doing a retro figure would up the chances. But who honestly knows?

Right? I was expecting/hoping they'd at least tease a Grabber Ultimate, since Black Phone 2 is coming out and they're releasing the Toony. No new horror reveals right before Halloween is a bummer, unless they just plan on revealing them themselves later on in the month.

Finally caved and got the rest of the What We Do In The Shadows Toony Terrors from my local comic shop. They were down to 1 Nandor, and I've yet to see the wave anywhere else, so I didn't want to wait or be Nandor-less. Really happy to have them all finally- with baby Colin and doll Nadja, they...

I definitely read that in Todd McFarlane's voice. Gonna be a long wait indeed. A few of those characters I already have or are already out- not in animated style, obviously, but wondering if I shouldn't just put them in the display now to keep myself busy for half a year. Definitely gonna...

Been all over the place lately (not that that's any different than usual), and I was heading to see if I couldn't pick up the Palpy set; I had no idea it wasn't available for non-premium members until November 3rd. Must've missed that detail somewhere along the way. Bit of a bummer- it's not...
