I was just thinking, maybe there were no other (blank)head characters to fit the theme? :) I can't think of more offhand, but that doesn't mean anything except that I'm not that quick-witted.

Interesting tidbit from a video I watched: I guess the eyes are swap-able across the heads to either have pupils or not. EDIT: Here's the video. They start with TMNT and have some little fun bits explaining different story/design choices for these:

These are up on LT Cave for pre-order. Not sure I've ever noticed or seen it before, but it says "preorder deadline 25 Oct". Leatherhead is listed for October release and Metalhead for November.

The weird stuff is what I most like in this line (and the animals), so I kind of regret not getting Nemesis Enforncer too. I mostly wanted the little snake dude from the Once a Man set, and eventually I got him for a good price on Mercari, but I do want Pythona and am pretty sure I've got no...

JoyToy's site has these listed for next month already. I hope we're in for another round of rapid-fire reveals/releases again now after the summer lull... Because I'm a masochist, but also because I'm a huge dork.

They're almost certainly doing Bebop and Rocksteady eventually. They're already hinting at Krang and Metalhead with accessories, I think the plan is to bring the toon characters into their movie-inspired universe they're creating here.

The Ghost Viper's only a couple weeks out, I'm not too worried about cancelation. But then, I'm seemingly one of the only ones who HASN'T had a Walmart pre-order canceled on me. They even sent me Gnawgahyde dspite me pre-ordering him at a 50% price glitch.

I've seen the films and I might only spring for a Toony Terror version of Art, and maybe a Santa Art. I just have a tough time getting too excited about the new icons past about Scream and don't feel compelled to get Ultimates of most of them.

This is very exciting to me. Veitch left the book back then because DC pulled a story in which Swamp Thing was traveling through time and would have met Jesus. Now they're not only publishing that issue but he's finishing out the arc he had originally planned:

It says Thia and Bud 2-pack, but they don't show Bud. Except they DID show Bud at a previous show and then took him down the same day. I don't know if people consider it spoilers or not, but the pics are still out there.

Doesn't the Thia Badlands figure come with a little alien sidekick character? They had it in the booth at one of the recent shows and then took it away, probably weren't allowed to show it yet. Two littles to equal one regular figure, I assume it'll be the same retail as the actual Predator...

I like this new stuff a lot, and I thought the style worked really well in 2D. I don't love every single design choice, but the stories are fun and funny and the animation itself is dynamic enough that I can just enjoy the media and not feel the need to deal with the figures.
