Yes that's also what Robo said with the Toy Biz being X-Statix and the new one being X-Force. I've never read a comic with him so I have no idea myself.

    X-Men '97

Lots of mixed opinions about Cable. Many are saying it's the best in the set. I'm not a fan of the look so I was planning to pass, but I've seen enough reviewers laud him so that I did finally order him.

Watch Robo's review because he discusses this. I think he said the Toy Biz version matches how Doop looked in one book and the newer one matches how he looked in more modern books.

I wish I could have a few DOZEN of these. The Mezco Fantastic Four set has one with a bendy-wire in it for Thing that's fabulous, but tough to army-build those with the set costing $420.

Marvel 1/6 Scale (Mondo, Hot Toys, etc.)

I hadn't noticed they started making those, interesting. Hard to call it a flight stand since it's shorter than the figure but I get what you mean since it does supposedly hold him off the ground even if barely. That clip shown below must have amazing force and tightness because it's BARELY...

    Marvel Legends Gamerverse

To be clear I don't have him yet so my opinion is derived from other people's reviews. The linked review below is the best one I found comparing all three versions of the figure, and he went with this new version on every category except paint (he picked Select) and accessories (he picked the...

If Juggernaut wasn't one of my top ten favorite villains this new one would be an easy pass, but he's an upgrade on the Select so I have to have him.

    Hasbro Made-to-Order Figures

Not sure if this has already been noted but I just noticed that Pulse upped the price on the X-Men '97 Sentinels from $174.99 during the pre-order period to $219.99. So when they make some available for sale we'll be paying $45 more this year. :oops...

Maybe I never see that because I return to Whole Foods which Amazon owns.

    General Marvel Legends

They're bigger than the average horse, but it still works since there are over a dozen horse breeds that are far larger than the average horse with the most famous being Clydesdales or Belgian Drafts. Here's the 1:12 scale Mafex Dark Knight Returns Batman on the back of the Mythic Legions horse...

    Tracking toy tariffs

If you mean HitchBot that was back in 2015. I'm a huge Smodcast fan so I remember Kevin Smith talking about that back then. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HitchBOT

    General Marvel Legends

Has anyone found any other figures Pulse is doing this for? That's a really irritating way to get people to sign up for Premium.

Did I miss a story? I usually return 3 to 6 items per year and have never heard of this.

    Marvel Toys on Sale

Did you look in the clearance section? All of the Targets in my area now move clearance items to one of two places--the ends of aisles which they've done for years, but over the past two years they have a dedicated set of shelves next to the electronics section and close to the toys section...

    SHF Star Wars

Amazon finally shipped my Yoda today, and it should be here tomorrow via DHL. I guess we skipped the import charges thanks to ordering before the Trump tariffs.

S.H.Figuarts General Anime (Dragon Ball, Naruto, MHA, etc.)

A warning about the new SH Figuarts Monkey D. Luffy Future Island Egghead figure--the peg for the arm into the shoulder comes apart VERY easily. My son broke that peg apart yesterday, and the replacement is problematic as well. One of the Youtube reviewers has two of them, and his shoulder peg...

    Tracking toy tariffs

HobbyLink Japan now has added FedEx as a shipping option to the US in addition to DHL. I tried shipping the Mafex Amazing Spider-Man from my private warehouse to see how much they're charging for shipping plus "duties" and "handling" and the total on that $90 figure is $53. Too much...

    SHF Star Wars

I was curious so I tested it since he's in stock on Amazon Japan right now shipped from and sold by Amazon Japan. The price is 7317 JPY with a 3137 JPY shipping and a 1421 JPY cost for "import charges". That 1421 fee is about 20% of the 7317 total, so that's pretty fair without that giant...

    SHF Star Wars

WTF? Where's MY Amazon Japan Yoda at? Thanks, good to know they're shipping at a reasonable price somehow.

    SHF Star Wars

Where'd you get him from, and how much did it cost? Any shipping from Japan to the US is an adventure right now.

    SHF Star Wars

So SHF Yoda is in stock at most Japanese retailers now. I have him pre-ordered from 2024 at both Amazon Japan and AmiAmi, but neither of them have contacted me at all about my pre-orders. I get that with AmiAmi, sorta. They still have US shipments shut down, but I would have still thought...

    Tracking toy tariffs

Which of their decisions were flagrantly unconstitutional? I haven't seen one that would be as bad as this one. People hate Citizens United, and I hate what it did as well--but I also don't know how they should have decided that one if you look at the actual quite-interesting details of that...

    Tracking toy tariffs

That description only fits Alito and Thomas. The others still care about the Constitution, and this case is pretty different from most others. Tariff power is explicitly given to Congress, but Congress passed their own law allowing presidents to enact tariffs in times of emergency. If they...

    Hasbro Made-to-Order Figures

I barely order from Pulse so I didn't realize these emails were common since they revamped their web site to stop using Shopify. And I'm actively pissed at Hasbro over the whole Savage Land 3-pack and Anakin and Obi-Wan with Mustafar diorama pieces debacle. Coincidentally I was a Pulse Premium...

    MAFEX Marvel Figures

Possibly. I'll go back and compare the art of both Lee and Byrne to the figure and see. I'm sure Lee was also inspired by Byrne so the elements of their art may be more similar than I realized, and when I think I'm seeing Byrne I could actually be seeing Byrne through a Jim Lee prism.
