I loved the look of Slade and his horse from the GR film.

    Spin Master SUPERMAN '78 Figures

Found this wave today, missing Lois and Jor El, but got Supes, Luthor and Zod. Rang up as $8 each, plus some discount. Hope to find Lois, if I see Jor El cheap I would get him but not a priority. Any word if their might be a wave 2 - I would 100% buy a Clark Kent, Jimmy Olsen, Ursula, Non, Otis...

Intrigued to see the trailer - I don't have a lot of preconceived notions about how he should be portrayed so curious about it.

    General Marvel Legends

Yes, part of the Dark Knight Returns wave. It turned out fairly well I thought, if you work under the premise that the horse is mainly there to support a rider and isn't super articulated itself. Batman may, by a smidge, be more popular than Phantom Rider however. (Just checked, BBTS has the...

I love the Omniboos. Sure, sometimes you can get the originals for less but to me it is very nice to have a run of issues and tie-ins well reproduced in a book.

    General Marvel Legends

Happy to get Skurge! Some nice figures in the wave although none are figures I really need. Inhumans getting essentially finished is a nice touch. Very interested in the horse talk as well, some Legends horses, winged or otherwise, are overdue.

    Hasbro possibly doing Tron?

Not to pile on, but why produce figures from one film in 1:18 and its sequel in 1:12? If a collector wants to build a collection from all three films (Ares pending in a 1:6 scale I guess) its not crazy to think you might want them to be the same scale.

The anti-Lizardmen bias in the action figure community is appalling - I appreciate your calling out the need for more, and better, Lizardmen representation and supporting their culture. Especially as we are coming up on Lizardman History Month in November. Lizardmen are people too. I don't get...

Mislabeled, Herry Monster was previously announced and is blue.

    Hasbro possibly doing Tron?

I think once that priced out at over $250, they needed to think about going all in as you say and do something exhaustive with a few more figures, a tank, Recognizer (big but pretty basic), etc. The MCP could basically just be a plastic cylinder, but it would add some heft to the set. This...

Muppets (including The Muppet Show, Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock)

Thanks! Great stuff. That was from 1975, so just a bit past my viewing years as a kid, and it didn't seem familiar to me. But he has that classic Muppet Monster design so will get him for sure.

I was at first baffled by the Herry Monster tag - Frazzle is a deep cut - great look and I think I recognize him, but couldn't have named him. Sherlock Hemlock, great news. They must be optimistic to be holding off on Cookie Monster a bit longer.

    Hasbro possibly doing Tron?

You may not even need to bother to track this one. I predict less than 2,500 backers. This is going the way of Cookie Monster in that I doubt it will even get close to funding.

    Hasbro possibly doing Tron?

When I saw the price I assumed they went 6" for the Haslab. They are asking a lot of fans at that price point - granted the sculpting on the Haslab looks phenomenal for 3 3/4" - but they needed to figure out how to do that for $199, or at least give me all 4 color lightcycles we saw in the film.

Are there paperback versions? I am irrationally anti-ebook, despite the obvious benefits - but I just don't enjoy reading fiction on a screen/pad.

I would be absolutely stunned if we ever see Bat-Mite in live action. But admit I would love it if we did.

    Hasbro Made-to-Order Figures

I still have Toy Biz Dragon Man, easily my most "valuable" retail find as I got him at Kay Bee Toys for like $10 (a rare chase-type find for me), so wasn't sure I wanted to replace that one. But the new one is much better scaled and I'd probably regret not having him.

New York Comic Con Oct 9-12th 2025

I am still hoping for a Fantasticar HasLab. I have given up on the playset Haslabs, as noted there are some of us who I think would support it but probably not the numbers needed based on past discussions. But - a HasLab with the training uniform New Mutants and the Danger Room might be how we...

Agreed - when Ford is on screen as Solo, he is Solo. When Ehrenreich is on screen as Solo, he is "playing" Solo. That's not a knock it is what it is in my head as I watch it. Not sure why exactly.

Marvel Cinematic Universe Movies and Streaming Series Discussion

True, I suspect that at least 50% of the people that ended up seeing MCU films at their peak would have 10 years earlier scoffed at ever seeing a comic film about the Avengers or Thor or Ant-Man. But it became a thing, the films were well done, people liked the actors - and then you have 50...
