    McFarlane DC Multiverse

I'm souring of these tags Hasbro and McFarlane are putting on their figures. "Elite", "Maximum", "Collector's Edition"......there's nothing extra put into the figures themselves, there's no staggering new innovation in design. It's just a label and a higher price. Sometimes, if you're lucky...

If you find out let me know. I'm still waiting for the answer to that about "Collector's Edition" figures.

    Star Trek

My cynicism born from much larger toy companies constantly taking me for a ride, cutting corners while simultaneously raising prices, just can't process what I'm seeing here with these Star Trek figures. The things included with these figures are what other toy companies use to label them...

I'd definitely sell to a collectibles shop if you just want them all gone and not worried about making too much money. Tip from someone who's done this many times: If you take the time to organize them into bags with all their accessories, they may give you a bit more money because then they...

    G.I. Joe Classified Series

If I miss her, I miss her. I already foolishly slept on Once a Man and Nemesis Enforcer. BUT......I have my vintage Cobra-La 3 pack, my Super 7 o-ring Once a Man, and an incoming Super 7 o-ring Pythona. So Cobra-La is well represented in 3.75" form. I'm going to be fine either way.

    X-Men '97

I'm going to imagine one of the four Apocalypses I already own is brand spanking new and call it good. Any chance we see 97 Jubilee in her standard look this weekend?

If Pythona stays around for the common folk to get it in November, I'll be all in.

My favorite reveal by far is Cardiac. He's just about exactly how I pictured him. I was prepared for them to not include those effects spheres but they did.

    Hasbro Made-to-Order Figures

The Apocalypse options are many. Besides the retro carded one that is quasi cartoonish, there's the BAF, there's AOA, there's Diamond Select (arguably the best one out there), there's Toybiz 6" and Toybiz BAF. My Apocalypse boxes are checked. In fact, I need to have FEWER Apocalypses, not more.

    Marvel Cinematic Universe Figure Discussion

Mini rant warning: That's good, of course, but what I'm wondering is, why are they still experimenting? There are companies that have had these things figured out and implemented for a year or more. If you're sculpting something ALL NEW for an MCU or the occasional ambitious comic figure, why...

    Marvel Cinematic Universe Figure Discussion

If those eyebrows on Punisher were furrowed just a bit more it would have made a lot of difference. Netflix DD is the only Hasbro DD I own. They only want to put their updated comic Daredevils in multi packs, it seems, and I never wanted to spring for those.

    Marvel Cinematic Universe Figure Discussion

I got my DD and Punisher delivered to me yesterday from Target. Daredevil quick, before-work review: Good: Sculpt in really nice, good detail in the suit, matte finish (seems weird to mention but it looks so much better than shinny plastic). The accessories are decent, I am really glad they...

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

That's like 90% of the releases of this line. I was just staring at that for a while and was wondering.......would this work if Todd doesn't do Nicholson Joker? The hairline is off but there's something there in the mouth and eyes.

    ML Secret Wars

This buck is just no good, though. The low shoulders and gaping crotch gap and the 0% body fat upper legs (which granted you can't really see on clear Iceman), pinless isn't saving it. And we're getting a double dose with Silver Surfer.

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

I have very little good to say about the current state of comics so I guess I won't say anything except for the fact that if I didn't really, REALLY want to support the family owned book store that I've been buying my new issues at since 1990, I'd probably just be out. This guy's got reviews...

    ML Secret Wars

I'm still not getting the pinless hype. It's nice but I don't consider it to be something that makes the figures better by leaps and bounds. My paper- thin reason for rebuying Iceman on this buck that I'm really not a huge fan of is that he's clear. And honestly, after typing this, I may just...

    General Marvel Legends

I've read all of Chris Claremont's Uncanny X-men run, I love the whole package. I also really enjoyed Whedon's Astonishing X-Men but I have not collected that era in action figure form either. I just need to have a cut off but of all the lines out there, X-Men and GI Joe are the two hardest to...

    Marvel Toys on Sale

You're right. I think you sold me on waiting on Rogue/Destiny. But that Wolverine/Psylocke.......$30 might just be the right price especially taking Psylocke into account. I'm going to drive to work and think about this :)

    Marvel Toys on Sale

I've had an itch to get Rogue/Destiny for a while but didn't want to do $50 for two bare bones figures. They're down to $40 now......do I hold out for better? Also, the Wolverine/Psylocke is now $30. I couldn't care less but that Wolverine (who suffers from basically-the-same-alternate-head...

    X-Men '97

I'm really tempted to ship my POL on my birthday week and get a nice package by the weekend but there's like 3 more things still due for October and I guess it makes the most sense to wait it out.

    X-Men '97

Yeah I'm not expecting improvements by leaps and bounds, but I recall the knees on the Hellfire Emma being particularly bad. That combines with the heels and that hard shell cape meant I couldn't stand her up unless she was leaning on something. I'm hoping the pinless joints at least shore up...
