Significantly smaller selection than the Oak Park location, but a few things that were new to me. They had many of these DaVinci model kits. I bought the bridge one because I thought it might look good in photos. I want to put a wash on it, and maybe glue it too because it's not very sturdy. It's a good size, about 17" end-to-end and 4" high in the center. Apparently they had a 40% off all toys sale yesterday, the day before I check it out.

I appreciate you checking it out! The Oak Park one is the closeest one when I go to visit family and it's so hit or miss. Same with all the Ross stores nearby. I always see the Ross Con posts, but by the time I make it home, it's slim pickins.

Same. I only buy from them when they have good sales and even then only buy in stock stuff.

I'm in California so hopefully it won't take too long. Half off on two of the Spidey figures (I only got 4 of them), earlier arrival, AND I can cancel an Amazon order? All around win.

I live close enough to EE that it's cheaper to come pick stuff up, heh, but still rarely buy from them. Always a good experience when I do tho

Target is having major technical issues today. I placed an order about an hour ago for a pickup tomorrow, but I didn't get an email and it's not in my order history. Apparently this has been happening all day. I placed the order on my laptop and not realizing it was a widespread issue, I decided to place a second order on the app. Something happened and I checked my CC, it has two pending charges. On Target reddit, customers are freaking out because they have pendings and might actually be buying something important and then there are store employees dreading having to deal with angry customers.



I can go to my browser history to see the Target order confirmation page, but you can't do that with an app.

Update: Sometime during the night I received the email and the order was added to my account. By 7:20am, I received the cancellation notice for out of stock. They supposedly had six. I was trying to sneak in another Transformer purchase during the one day sale. Fuck Target indeed.

Target is sending out gift cards to people who ordered online on Friday. I didn't even have to complain.
