G.I. Joe Classified Series: The Chatty Pointless Thread & Performance Art

Star Wars had a stream, in the Marvel threads they're speculating when the next Marvel one will be (likely next week), but how about the Classified one? Maybe next week as well?
 
I see some "old" posts about the old-style hips being bad, as I always say, lightly sand those little ball nubs! It's like five minutes work. Just don't overdo it, particularly on the balls on the opposite ends of the peg or your figure will do the splits. YMMV.

Do the hips boil off pretty easily? I'm always anxious dismantling more than head/neck stuff.

Yeah I personally like to rotate the legs a bit on the ball joint, because I find it more difficult from an A stance. What works for me is rotating the leg at the hip so the ball joint is visible facing upwards/frontwards, and then pry it off.

And I'm so glad to not do these fixes, either. PVC plastic and shock oil are a terrible combination; so sanding is the best method, but yeah it sucks, luckily out of maybe 10 figures I only messed up one hip joint. Fixed just with some thin superglue layers.

Why am I not surprised to find someone talking about messing with balls in this thread?
 
I just put together my top ten Marvel
Legends list, which was easy to do thanks to Legendsverse. Is there a similar resource available for Classified to know which figures were 2025 releases?
 
Eh, this has them broken down by year but I have to update because some I thought were coming next year are out already.

Hello all, piggy backing pretty hard on a lot of work done in this Hisstank.com thread. I thought we could do our own version, especially since that one hasn't been updated in several months. This can also serve as a handy checklist for the collection as a whole. Please, everyone feel free to weigh in on anything from corrections, formatting suggestions, and especially filling in gaps. No announcement for a Classified fan stream yet,.but I'm posting this hoping it'll provoke the announcement. I'm fine looking immediately dumb if it yields results.
 
Apropos of nothing, I was just rummaging through my collection trying to figure out which character gets the next file card treatment and I noticed a tiny pinhole puncture on Bazooka's foot.

My fucking cat. He went through a phase where he liked biting action figures, particularly their feet, I thought I found every figure he dinged up. Poor 'zook got chewed. (Not enough damage for me to want to replace the figure, but...
 
Man... first they do him dirty in the Resolute animation, then your cat chomps his foot. Ol' Zookie can't catch a fuckin' break.

NGL, I want his file card to rock specifically because Resolute did him so dirty. (Also man, his figure in Classified is a fucking TANK. Bro's built like a brick shithouse.)
 
Bazooka has always deserved better than he got. When the inspiration hits, I'm sure you'll nail it.
