G.I. Joe Classified Series: The Chatty Pointless Thread & Performance Art

Man, I thought two ghost vipers was one too many, but after taking some pics of them flanking Crystal Ball like his personal guard I wish I got two more. And I don’t army build anymore. They just look great with light filtering through their gear.
 
Anyone planning to get the Arctic Hiss, is it disappointing to get the missiles instead of cannons or is it better to have it be more different from the original?

We were talking about the purple snowboard Snow Serpent, I wonder if that will be announced to coincide with these Arctic vehicles. I would think the accessories are the biggest thing as far as new sculpting, maybe the head too depending on how they wanna do that
 
Yeah my hope is that we get a few Arctic themed releases. SSv2 seems obvious as does Stalker v2, and stuff like Arctic Night-Creeper and/or anything from the 25th Cobra Arctic Assault Squad would be easy layups.
 
I still have my doubts that Hasbro will go too hard on that single theme. As-is, we're going to get a snow-themed Joe, a snow-themed HasLab, and a snow-themed MTO all shipping at basically the same time. And I'm sure Hasbro is counting Snowjob, Snow Serpents, and Arctic BAT as being 'out there and available' even if they'll mostly be long gone by the time this new stuff comes out. But I'd love to be wrong and see an entire snow-themed wave of figures/Retros hit around the same time as all the vehicles next year.
 
I think it would be pretty awesome if they did that now and then. Not necessarily all the time, but once in a while do a desert wave, a jungle wave, nautical, etc

To answer the HISS question; doesn't bother me at all. I like the idea of the missile rack - particularly on the snow-themed HISS. If any version of the HISS would need to really be worried about tankbuster aircraft, it's one that's rolling around in a giant open wasteland with probably no cover for dozens of miles in any direction (I've always viewed the black/blue ones as more urban rather than desert vehicles, FWIW).
 
I never got the HISS so am sorely tempted on the arctic version, but I feel like I’ll be cautious up until the deadline for the time of year. Space is becoming a real issue for one thing and I’m daydreaming about a loft conversion to set up a playroom lately…
