why send them to other countries if they are narco-terrorists? why not Guantanamo? pretty obvious they are just innocent civilians who cannot be tried at a court

I almost said something about watching for a pantsless guy this morning. But there's gotta be more than one there. You know how these go.

It was an unforgettable day. So many people, all ages, all races, all walks of life, and all of us united in our love of democracy and our hatred of fascism. It was almost like a street fair with musicians and artists. There were folks handing out bottled water. It was so peaceful and friendly. There was very little police presence and no sign of any MAGA's and that's a great thing. And of course the weather was perfect. This IS San Diego, after all. Would you expect anything less?

God I love this city and these people.

All the protests are beautiful and inspiring. I just hope we have an equal amount of ruthless bastards working on making sure these efforts don't go wasted - it reminds me too much of the 2016 protests that were also inspiring but didn't have enough knives-out follow up to salt the earth and make sure the bad guys couldn't come right back again. I want to believe our collective memory isn't that short but I've got this pending sense of dread that history will repeat itself very quickly. We need "puppies against fascists" and "Grandtifa" and people in blowup costumes mocking the administration because that mockery shows how deeply unserious they are and how deserving of disrespect it is, but the White House can confidently issue a press release that just says literally "who cares" because we didn't salt the earth last time. They're not as scared as they should be. I want to see this joy and optimism, but I also want to see some prison sentences and rich guys fleeing the country for places without extradition treaties as a side dish.

Denver wasn't San Diego big, but it was the biggest I've seen all year. A bit harder edged than the one in the burbs, but still entirely peaceful.

That said best sign I saw was an old lady in the burbs that said "Can we just jump ahead to the part where he shoots himself in the bunker?"

I'll also echo @SDcomics 's note about the age range. Lots more young people this go round at both places.

Just remembered there were two sort of incidents. When I first got there a municipal garage across the street was letting out some Denver PD SWAT vehicles, the first being a ridiculously heavy armored one with cosplayers hanging off of it. A few folks blocked them for a few seconds, but left before they could be shooed. The vehicles all left then, must have been off to do some other shitty operation. There was one driver stopped by the march at a cross street trying to push through, but a volunteer in a vest stood in front basically daring him to give it gas while photographing the plates and another volunteer recorded him.

Hightlight interaction was in the burbs though when a guy drove by slow shouting profanities at the crowd and one woman just belted out super, super loud "We love you!" Dude did not have a response.

No Kings 2 was estimated at nearly 7 million attendees. That's about 2% of the U.S. population.

For those worried that this regime will last, I have some good news.
