C'mon Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, the Bride of Frankenstein, Living Mummy, Manphibian, Classic Mr. Hyde, Lilith, Classic Son of Satan, Santana and the Simon Garth Zombie.

Bloodscream and Cylla Markham (she was supposedly a psychic vampire right?)

The Marvel Universal Monsters knockoffs. Might convince me to get the Werewolf by Night figure if I know the others are coming.

Is Proteus a monster? Toss him in while we're at it.

Phalanx are body-horror aliens, might as well toss them in there too.

Brood and N'Garai demons seem like a no brainer coming at some point.

Slayback and woody Black Tom seem like "monstrous" enough mutants to qualify.

I could see Jack of Hearts fitting this theme, to a degree. He's got 2 different skin tones, some would classify that as "monstrous".

If Jack of Hearts is really that cost prohibitive why don't they just make him an made to order figure, with multiple heads and other accessories? It's not like Mephisto is that intricate and it's obvious we're not getting another one for a decade or two. Should any character (barring licensing issues) be outside Hasbro's ability to produce?

I don't personally care either way as I'm not into the character, but it seems odd to exclude a character just for being incredibly ornate. Isn't that what Haslab / MTO's are for? They can even tack on an extra $20-$40 bucks like they're doing with their extras after the fact.
 
I’d happily take Jack as either an MTO item or a Deluxe like Beta Ray Bill has to be. If selling them at that price point is necessary to get them, as long as they’re honest with us about it then I’m okay with it. I’m not happy about it, but I understand it. Heck, throw Jack in with Captain Ultra and that third hard-to-make character they always pair them with who I can’t remember in a box set.
 
They were both Defenders as members of that Defenders for a Day membership drive story. You could pull a third character from that grouping: Stingray, Torpedo, Tagak the Leopard Lord, White Tiger, Black Goliath (standard size) and use that name for the package. If it was successful, they've demonstrated another option that works in the MTO category.

Even some of the villains, that posed as "Defenders" during that story-arc would be cool to get. :) :D Like the Libra LMD, Joe the Gorilla, Pecos, Boomerang, Plantman, Porcupine, Melter, Looter, Sagittarius LMD, Beetle (original armor), etc.
