McFarlane DC Multiverse

Less than 4 minute sell out for Joker on BBTS.

I'd be curious to know the number they are allotted for these preorders that are gone in minutes/seconds. Because I'm sure they have a pretty good grasp of what will or won't move quick and order appropriately. My guess is that McFarlane only allots them a minimal amount in the first place to create this false buzz.
 
I wasn't interested in either of these figures because I already have too many versions of both characters and I have a serious aversion to soft goods, so these weren't something that was going to appeal to me. I was worried about the rumored Platinums, but that doesn't seem to be a thing now.
 
Also looks like there’s a couple of other Red Platinums someone found at Target. Nothing new as they were both rumored. Black Flash with the alternate head, and Guardian. Guardian looks like the Golden Guardian which was Jim Harper’s clone.
 
I got so distracted watching Robo’s review of the Extremis Iron Man set (which I already own btw ) that I completely forgot about the drops for Superman and trenchcoat joker today. I was able to snag them but once again, only through purchasing an entire case worths of figures via Nerdzoic. I guess I have even more extra McFarlane figures to put up on my eBay page. I guess the only good news is that I ought to make back what I spent and might even turn a profit since the extras I have to sell off are from this set and the Batman returns collection

Yes, I'll be trying to find both Guardian and will likely try to find multiple Dark Flashes. I've been relatively fortunate in finding a lot of the movie Superman Robot to army build. I found 6 of those at one Target alone. I'd like to do that with the Dark Flash as well.
 
How out of place is the new Batgirl's face going to look on the Bat shelf? I really like it - but it's so differently stylized than everyone else.

I thought dark flash was technically the Walter West/Alternate future version of Wally who came from a reality where Linda died? Didn’t he wear the maroon and silver flash costume with the giant lightning bolt on his chest?

I mean that Batgirl is the Bronze Age version so she won’t look out of place next to Knightfall Batman, disco Nightwing, silver age joker, penguin, two-face, riddler and Earth 2 Robin. Also you can probably put her in a crisis themed display

I wonder if that's to throw us off. I managed to order the case. Will be disappointing if the red platinums truly aren't even available that way and only in store exclusives.

Sure, yes that was a different Dark Flash. I have that figure and it's one of my favorite from the past year... but this one is from Speed Metal where there was an army of Dark Flashes working for the Batman Who Laughs and chasing down the speedsters. I know that I've still got that comic somewhere. I've got the original Gold Label version of this Dark Flash as well, but it only came with one head whereas this platinum will come with 3 different heads.

I took a picture of the two Dark Flash figures both still in the package next to each other on my shelf but can't figure out how to post it here since I don't have any social media to place it on and link it to. No URL.

Black Flash is supposed to be the embodiment of Death in the Speed Force. Dark Flash was Wally from another timeline as was stated.

Love that Guardian. Need more Kirby.

Use https://postimages.org/ - drop the photo in and copy the Direct Link for forums like this. :) The image will need to be a jpeg - it can't process the HEIC base files from iPhones.
