Harvinger Studios, Savage Crucible

From Harvinger's socials:

Elric of Melniboné is on the way!
We are thrilled to announce that Elric has left the factory in China and is headed to our U.S. facility!
Upon arrival to our warehouse, our team will be fulfilling direct preorders, followed by retailer preorders. Any remaining stock left AFTER that process will be offered later in 2026. If you have not yet preordered Elric, several of our retail partners still have him available. Retailer list may be found at SavageCrucible.Com
Death Dealer, Wave 3, Wave 4 ETA’s may be found on the timeline on the front page of SavageCrucible.Com

Isn't this the same as what BFS used to do (still does?). Once the figure is on the water, pre-orders are cut off and the figure will be re-listed when it goes up as an in-stock item after the pre-orders are filled.
They don't completely delete the page so pics can't be looked at and salivated over.

I think I figured out why I like these Barbarian figures so much, the overall proportions remind me of Barry Windsor Smith's Conan, and that is very much the way I see Conan in my mind. I wouldn't be averse to a Savage Crucible BWS Red Nails Conan.

I'm just saying.

I think he looks pretty cool. Digging the colors, weapons & new head. Not really sold on the re-used armor and such on new stand-alone releases like this personally though, it's a big part of what turned off from the Varnoks. Will have to percolate on this guy for a bit.

Rage or delight?
Neither? I think I' m more 'oh... that looks interesting.' It's like a tulwar (or related sword) hilt, but larger in all dimensions, but with a blade that might actually be -smaller- than it should be. It's.. weird, but not in a bad way. Just in a 'this is not a real thing, but was clearly inspired by a real thing' kind of way. It's interesting enough that it makes me want to buy the figure. A figure I otherwise have literally zero interest in.

I don't recognize the forearms or the boots from older figures. I wonder if they're new.
Good call. I thought the boots were just the Varnock boots, but it seems that's probably not the case. I think the forearms might just be from the wave 1 lizards, but I'm only like 70% on that.
