Unlike many here, I have less faith in Mattel than I do McFarlane. My wife collects Barbie and Monster High, and our experiences with Mattel have been frustrating to say the least. I hate Todd’s deliberate scarcity games, but Matty is as bad in slightly different ways.

1966 BATMOBILE arrived on Tuesday. After spending some time with it, as well as the others in the line, it really is one of the weaker offerings. It’s an enlarged version of the one already released, and a seriously missed opportunity. Mattel’s from 13 years ago is still champ.

I’m really looking forward to WW/Godzilla tomorrow! I know they’re not that popular, but I love them unapologetically. Would really like to see a Tiamat, but I doubt the line will go that deep.
