Most are interchangeable. Olive Oyle has a smaller peg than the medium sized male characters. Toar and Bluto have bigger pegs.

Well DST did go bankrupt. Maybe their figures were priced too low. I agree, though, the cost benefit for ML seems too high. The amount of reuse and quantities sold suggests much of the price is going somewhere other than production.
