Falcon and Daredevil!!!!! Falcon is perfect! I love the Daredevil even with the black Ds on his chest. Pretty sure the original Secret Wars figure was that way and love, love the echo effect piece. These I will not miss. Probably pass on Spidey and rest of wave will get but may wait to see in store and not pre order. Maximum Thor is a must have too. Wow. What a great stream. can't wait to see whatever the new reveals are for Toy Fair!
 
That was a LOT of REALLY great stuff.

In for five of the six Secret Wars figures (passing on Spidey), and while I'd have preferred Volcana I'm also in for the original New Mutants, and this Magik covers that. So, good deal.

Crossing-era Quicksilver and Black Widow are definitely buys as well. That Quicksilver can also go with the Pérez/Busiek Avengers.

Maximum Thor...like anyone even needs to guess. FULLY IN. PLUS THROG?! YES!!!

Excellent stream. My wallet's break is over.
 
I was not expecting blue Warren so fast. Grabbing that. Also going to grab single-card Onslaught. That's a cool DD, but I don't like that much black on the suit. I'm not decided on Max Thor, but he looks pretty solid. Rest is a pass, but seems like a good opener to the year.
 
The blood-splatter effects with Muse and Bullseye are interesting. Those are really grisly, "grown-up" accessories, I wonder if that's indicative that fan channel releases going forward might not be governed by the "it's a kid's toyline" appropriateness stipulations that have sometimes affected character/ costume decisions.
 
Muse was the only "must have" reveal for me. I'll likely buy more of these than I won't, though - I already know that despite my vow to only buy one re-do/update for every 2 new characters that I buy. I'd love to stick to that, but Hasbro makes that nearly impossible unless I just want to skip 90% of the line.

The only one that I know that I'll skip is the Secret Wars Spidey. No interest in that. Absorbing Man kind of seems like a fail without any sign of powered-up effects though, no? I wouldn't mind so much if older parts would fit him, but it's clearly a totally differently sized figure. I expected to skip The Crossing stuff but that Quicksilver looks really good.

Constrictor, Daredevil, Falcon, Magik and Maximum Thor all look really good and likely become my new "one version" of those characters for my collection. This isn't my favorite look for Thor, but it's a damn nice figure -- and will be more of a contrast to the Ragnarok figure that is closer to the classic look that I prefer for Thor. Again, I try to stick to only one version of any given character. I am not a fan at all of soft goods because they don't tend to hold up well for those of us with open displays, but it looks good on him.

I'm assuming that they're saving the Hulk figures for Toy Fair? I had really been expecting those today since Abomination is already out.

Tons of great stuff, but it's hard not to say that Thor stole the show. Coipel Thor! Finally! Really great sculpt + artic, a good array of accessories (attached flying Mjolnir; lightning effects, hands, etc), a lot of variety with the faceplates/helmet/hair, a cool detail with the behind the back Mjolnir storage and the extra piece to fit there, and Throg. Plus, most excitingly - a wired cape! Finally! Holy moly, he's great.

REALLY stoked on the SW wave. Falcon and Magik look fantastic to me. Absorbing Man and Constrictor are solid updates, but - obligatory grumble about those fucking boots on Constrictor. Come on guys.

Comic Muse is a welcome surprise - really happy to be getting a new character there! Plus a decently cool variant of Bullseye I'm not familiar with.

Crossing Black Widow and Quicksilver. Odd choice, but I actually really love that Quicksilver costume and am happy to get him. Can't wait to get 90's Giant-Man and wacky extreme Hawkeye.

Onslaught is a decent rerelease that I don't need. Love the colors, though - I could see them getting me on this one at a sale.

Archangel is neat. I don't hate the wings on the X-Force version, though I wish they had a little more poseability. The folded wings accessory is great.

Really good combination of stuff today. A couple of villains long-overdue for remakes a couple of classics, a couple of variants on favorites... I think Thor's the first maximum that really feels like he'll be worthy (ba dum ching) of the title. Magic has been tragically overdue.

No way I'm not buying the Daredevil stuff.

I'll probably skip Onslaught and I'm iffy on Archangel because I've still got the Bucky buck one, but he's such a strong upgrade I'll probably cave.
