All of these would be so cool.
 
I was just thinking about themed storyline waves this week while I was stuck in traffic, inspired by re-reading "Galactic Storm."

A wave off of that would be a cool way to get us team-builders for the Avengers, WCA, Starjammers, and Imperial Guard. Maybe some Starforce, too, but I'm at a stage where I'd rather build out existing teams than start new ones.

Logical Iron Man variant to anchor the wave with his space armor, and maybe fudge leather jacket Cap in there.

This is a perfect idea for a BAF wave. Several waves in fact.
Since BAF waves are Fan Channel, in theory you only need one A list anchor, if you even really need that.
My 2 waves fill in the Avengers roster, add some cosmic foes and add 6 Imperial Guard members.
Something for Avengers fans, X-Men fans and cosmic fans.

Wave 1:
A-Lister: Iron Man - space suit
Avenger: Living Lightning
Avenger: Hercules (classic costume)
Imperial Guard Member: Electron
Imperial Guard Member: Manta
Imperial Guard Memebr: Starbolt
Cosmic Threat: Dr. Minerva
BAF: Warstar
Made-To-Order: Supreme Intelligence

Wave 2
A-Lister: Thunderstike
Avenger: Gilgamesh
Avenger: Sersi (in green)
Imperial Guard Member: Flashfire
Imperial Guard Member: Oracle
Imperial Guard Member: Neutron
Cosmic Threat: Yon-Rogg
BAF: Warstar
Made-To-Order: Goliath (Clint Barton)
 
I'm THIS close to getting both sets and doing that myself. BUT... I also really prefer the style of the Gamerverse skull, so I might just keep waiting for Hasbro to eventually just do the regular version we all wanted to begin with.

That's the only reason I haven't done it.

That and the blue works for me. Even just doing the head swap because I didn't really like the bandana, I see why they added the white bandana. Because he's all black you tend to lose the head in the design and it becomes uninteresting visually.

Even Sam Fisher has the green lights on his goggles for us to see.
 
He looks good enough in a trench coat courtesy of GPSlot. I couldn’t find one in gray but the black one works well enough

Hopefully the supposed "Walmart Punisher" is the Gamerverse one in black. I'd buy multiple.

Until then, "Walmart Punisher" just sounds like a neckbeard in a 2000's Matrix jacket who never leaves the snack aisles.
