See I feel completely opposite. I picked up the clean version and haven't had any problems at all. I DID have to heat up the knees, but after that, he's been moving just fine. I've swapped the hands a number of times now too...mostly because I don't know how I want to leave him displayed. He just comes with a ton of shit. But yeah, no worries moving him around. He's really fun to stick into random parts of the collection.

Nice! I'm glad to hear that these aren't issues every figure is having, and more of a rarity. I have heard horror stories of people having the right leg snap off when people go to pose him for the first time, but it seems most of those are from people who didn't know much about NECA figures, and tried to force the joint without applying heat. I just know from experience, not just with NECA, to heat any figure when it seems a joint is stuck.

After having him for a few days, I'm having fewer issues with him. I guess most of the excess paint has already flaked off (and there is only one hand where it is REALLY noticeable that paint is now missing), and after heating him up his joints aren't giving me any issues. I love the fact that the parts are completely compatible between the two versions. Since most of the paint issues I was having were with the hands, I plugged in some of the bloody ones, and I'm having fun with that. I mean, even when he is mostly clean in the films, his hands are usually dirty or bloody, so it doesn't really detract from the overall look. I put most of the "clean" accessories into his bag to fill that out, and am using the bloodied weapons with both figures, which totally works for me. Right now, my clean version is on my work desk with Bio-Exorcist Beetlejuice and HII Michael Myers. I have the "laughing" faceplate on him, and it looks like Beetlejuice just told him the crudest joke he's ever heard. Myers looks incredibly confused by it all.

I feel you on trying to figure out how you want to display him the majority of the time. He has SO many weapons, and looks great brandishing all of them! Right now my bloody one is at home, torturing a wrasslin' figure I picked up at Ross with his flail. Both of these are incredibly fun to have, and I can't wait for the Little Pale Girl set and the Santa Art to be released.
 
Only two days left for this Horrorween stuff, and all they've got to tease is more Predator stuff? And from a film they've already done multiple releases and re-releases for?

Yeah it's been a really sad showing. Why even call it "Horrorween" and then not show any more than this. They'd have kept our expectations in check by not making it an event and just showing the same stuff randomly throughout the month.

You would have thought they would at least have shown off the Terrifier 2 & 3 figures they teased at NYCC. This really has been one of the sparsest showings they've ever done for October.
 
gonna get that Predator 2 Poster Series figure, throw the Predator in the trash, paint the bird head silver and put my Trenchcoat Broadway and Elisa on top of it purely out of spite for the guy on instagram saying “Great More Gargoyles…” as if a dead line is some how stealing resources from whatever his insane pet license is!

Speaking of insane pet licenses… I saw a box of those puffy foam key chains being sold as “Universal Horror” but modern characters and in addition to the usual suspects (Chucky, M3GAN, Cocaine Bear, MacReady) Lord of Darkness from Legend was in it… NECA, I need you to stop dicking around and make me a Q-Scale Lord of Darkness right now. I need a giant cartoon Debil ruling over my monster shelf!

I hope someone does something with it NECA, Hot Toys, or anyone else really. With the lack of any merch, outside of maybe Funko Pops, Nosferatu hasn’t had anything over the last year so I fear it might be a similar delay for anything Frankenstein.

I mean, given how bitchy the fans are when they DON'T show more Predator stuff, this seems like a nice bone to throw... Plus I want it, I'm really digging these poster series figs.

Between Del Toro's Frankenstein and Eggers' Nosferatu, we're missing 2 sexy monsters! That Figura Obscura Frankie head sculpt with the longer hair might make for a decent custom or stand-in for the time being.
