And Walmart says the Ghost Vipers are due the 24th. Pay off the credit card early this month so at least half the month ends up on the next month's payment. I'm not proud of it but it works and puts the brakes on plastic deluge months.
 
Got my comic wave. Unboxing, And I just want to say I really hate that Hasbro has been putting in effort on certain characters. I said I wanted to scale down but now that I'm looking at them, they look way better than photos and video, and they all came out so clean.

I really talked myself into just wanting Daredevil and Widow but ...

7th grade me would never forgive me for not keeping Feral.

At the end of the day I ended up with the whole wave minus Surfer. Whoops.

Also I haven't seen anyone mention that Daredevil comes with actual string for his club. Not the crazy grapple ninja string, but the wrist security strap. That's new for them.

EB Canada website, shipped last Friday night. Only had time to open DD and Widow.

I think Gamer Wolvie (and GI Joe) ruined other male legends for me, because waist swivel feels lacking, and DD has no crunch or lean with that ball joint. I might actually do the Dremel trick for once. He looks awesome. Plenty of hands. Can get some nice attitude with the neck and wrists. But the torso and butterfly are weak.

Also he's just bigger than the Mafex, so my brain will not allow me to display them together.

But on his own, still love him. Never thought we'd see this sweatsuit as a figure. Hopefully any upcoming DD fig tosses us a Murdock head that works with this.

Widow is more Widow. Suit is great. The Spider hourglass is a different tampo on her chest logo, so watch for that if you can.

All the blowback on Rachel's hands, but Widow's photo also shows her with two fists. Nope.

Beast also has three open hands, one of which can hold the comic. Why. Pair everything. This one or the other is for the birds. I dig his alt head.

I don't even know if I'm making this up, but I recall an iconic marketing panel for the comic was him with his glasses and no bandanna, kneeling down being Murdock about things.

Would have loved that.

Constant complaint for me with Legends. I might actually take the dremel out myself. I don't have a shelf spot for DD, so he's a desk/fun toy. No point if he can't hit some decent poses.

Right fist, left grip, no triggers, two splayed, two shooting bracers, two smoking bracers.

Random Widow trivia. Even the Target one, the default bracers are larger than the ones that are used for the effect bracers. This holds true on this release.

However. The original jacketed gray suit does come with shorter default bracers that match the effect bracers.

I have tried under several different lights and while the gray bodysuits have a different finish and shade, if you have the hands from the old one they do match.

I'm so happy to have grey Widow with my Mafex DD.

Did I imagine it or did Mafex show one?
 
You can hit that Mazuchelli Batman/Daredevil chimney/tree kick. That makes me happy.

Also that comic Punisher portrait set fits on this and matches. There's got to be something fun you can do with that.
