Frazetta Girls ICON figures

I actually emailed them and asked for a single leg. Knew it was ridiculous. Snapped in half on my first "pose" quite literally. Got 1 second of enjoyment from the figure.
I emailed and never heard back. Which is infuriating because Sara herself messaged me when my Conan figure was going to run late, voluntarily, not even a form email and I was wildly impressed with their customer service.

welp I ordered like a well trained monkey today, even though I have the 1st releases...

The worst part is that I'm fully aware that they plan to release an "accessory pack" to make it easier for those like me who bought the first versions to get the extra bits.

@docsilence

Caught this buried four days ago in the Icons Facebook group by Frazetta Girls themselves, re Leg Snaps:

"We will replace them when we get the version II. We don’t have any Teegras to replace the Teegra."

Granted the whole point I decided to dive this comment thread was to see if there was any improvement and I don't see that touched on at all.

Edit:
Eamon assures that the knee won't snap.

And if you need a replacement. "please email it to [email protected] he’s standing by"

I just sent an email. Couldn't find the original post here but did see Sara saying they improved the knees and hips on Teegra and that they didn't have similar problems with Darkwolf (I haven't had issues with him myself).

Of course I'm not assuming the Vampirella I have is also going to break if I move her knees. I have ... shoot, one of the other lines? Some other version of Vampi though in her black costume that doesn't have quite so brittle parts (though she does not have quite so bodacious a booty, if I'm being totally blunt).

My Nekron showed up today. I haven't opened him, but he looks very nice in the package. Was curious on how they would box the throne up. All in one big box, about 2 & 1/2 times as deep as their regular boxes, and with an "elite" tag on the box. I guess the throne makes it elite? Kinda getting worn out on all the marketing tags where every figure is a "elite/deluxe/platinum/ultimate" etc. But whatever, as long as the figures are still good!

They also threw in a nifty little stand in the box separate from the figure.

We are getting a lot of folks asking about Frazetta Icon Collectibles Death Dealer and his horse in light of the fact that there two other releases out there. What I can say is that ours is the version of DD that you have always wanted and is accurately based on the iconic paintings- Death Dealer 1 and 3 - neither of which have never been done before in action figure form. Both DD and his powerful, chunky steed are designed and sculpted by myself and Aaron Doyle respectively and the set will have options such as 3 heads (one of which has never been done before), alternative armour, soft goods and other options to be announced. Oh at it will be between $150 and $175 for the pair. 🙂

Ahh that explains the video I saw with someone showing off real chainmail “skirt?” With the Frazetta John Carter in the background! I was hoping for Deja Thoris or Tars Tarkis and that chainmail threw me. But now its probably for Death Dealer

I dont want to want another Death Dealer, but Im not going to kid myself... Im sure this thing will be awesome and if it's $150-175 for him and his steed - it's going to be really hard to resist.

Eamon posted this image of DD's shield with that message - it looks really really nice.

The problem is Frazetta Girls can't do things based off Death Dealer paintings 1 and 3. The Frazetta Museum owns those. Frankie Frazetta explained the copyright issues to me yesterday when I met him. He was telling me how Savage Crucible had to change a belt buckle because it was from another painting than 1, 3, or 7 which are the ones the Frazetta Museum can license. I wonder how this will play out.

That price for DD AND horse might tempt me.

Though I shouldn't preorder any other large figure purchases right now. I still have a few higher priced items in the ether awaiting fulfillment to worry about. I shouldn'tbe adding more.
