I think this might be the first time it's not my own lack of will power but FOMO watching everyone else get psyched about this guy that pushes me to get him. I was 99% sure I wasn't gonna.

So I’ll have four of these tomorrow, I guess. So at first I’ll go both included heads and both cop heads, since they should be clean swaps. I’ve got a Crazy-Legs head waiting for Fascist Dook, but I might be convinced to drop it on one of these then get another C-L when that Dook drops. Also kinda want to take that Dook head and put it on one of these, have “Task Force Delta” Duke and Stalker for “outside the team” black ops.
Maybe a few “classic” Joes would look good in this uniform . . .
 
You guys talked me into it. I did the slower shipping from Amazon just as a way of telling myself "You don't need this TODAY, CTFD." I think if I had more non-Cobra villains I'd use the skull face - make him a bad guy and call him Toxic Masculinity Viper or something - butI think I'm gonna do normal face with beret and make him an international character and pair him with Big Ben. May change my mind once he's in hand though.
 
My wife got me a Punisher tee for a birthday a few years back. I wore it openly. Then wore it just around the house. Then I had to toss it. Sadly, it was one of the most comfortable shirts I have ever owned.

Oh ha ha ha my dear friend who is in the current show with me wore a Punisher tee with the Jane logo to rehearsal the other day. I’m sure he bought the shirt like when the actual movie came out and/or totally out of context from the appropriation that’s happened with that version of the logo; his nerdery only really extends to Superman and also he definitely wouldn’t be wearing it “like that” because he’s a good man and not some squealing bootlicker, but all day I kept looking over and cringing a bit.
I’ve got a classic-logo Punny shirt in the drawer that I haven’t worn in years.
 
Fun fact I forgot to mention way earlier; The sword on IG Destro's shield is 100% the Highlander movie sword. Fun nod.

I think most people here at this point know that I am a huge mark for Punisher. I had a classic (more '90s than Classic, I guess) logo shirt for years. Then for another couple of years it sat in a drawer. Then it became a shop rag and got tossed in the garbage covered in chemicals and oil. I still love Punisher - but I'm a lot less keen these days to wear that literally on my chest because it no longer reads to others as 'that guy likes The Punisher comics.'
 
The crazy thing is Born Again literally head on confronts the way the worst people have coopted the Punisher symbol, has the guy the symbol is dedicated to say you're an asshole and I hate you to the people doing it... and people in the real world keep doing it. I mean the Boys have been on a trajectory of being more blatant each season of saying "these are bad people" and people still think Homelander is Superman so... we're not dealing with the best and brightest with this stuff.

I knew those same people were a lost cause when Punisher called out this behaviour in the comics and nothing changed. These people don't even read the comics. They're not 'one of us.' They're scumbags with no morals and no pop culture literacy.
